  • Conservation Corpos North Bay: Conservation Corps North Bay is gearing uip to begin interviewing for the their job training and education program for young adults ages 18 to 25. Candidates must participate in both the paid field work experience and educational aspects of the program. Complete your high school diploma, earn GED or college credits. Attend this informational session and learn if this is a good match for you. Information on how to apply will be provided.

  • Habitat for Humanity: Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco is excited to announce that we are building our first new development in Marin County. We invite you to volunteer with us at Mt. Burdell Place at 1112 4th St. in Novato, where we’re building ten single-family homes and creating homeownership opportunities for deserving Bay Area families. We accept volunteers of all skillsets and experience levels in construction. Come to this workshop to learn how you can volunteer!

  • The Internet & Hidden Jobs: The Internet is a great research tool, but most employers rarely post jobs there. You can still use the Internet to find these employers. If you have been browsing job listings on line without good results, bring your specific job goals to this workshop and learn new ways to search for jobs.
  • Microsoft Office 365: Part 1: Presents an overview of the cloud based productivity suite that features collaboration, file sharing and remote access from virtually anywhere on any device. Participants will work with Outlook, contacts, calendaring, and document sharing using an enterprise version of the program.
    Experience with Microsoft Office is recommended.

  • Networking 101: Learn how to develop a network of influential working people.  Build mutual and beneficial relationships that lead you to decision makers. Take the sting out of calling and connecting and begin to nurture contacts into job leads.

Successful interviewing is essential. You will get actual videotaped practice interviewing and receive positive feedback as part of this course. This is a two-day workshop; you must attend both days.
