Marin Employment Connection (MEC) is a public and private partnership powered by the Workforce Development Board of Marin County under the auspices of the Marin County Department of Health & Human Services. This partnership enables us to leverage our relationships with public and private organizations for the purpose of securing the economic growth and vitality of Marin County. More specifically, we connect Marin County residents and employers to the resources they need to become and remain successful.
Funded by the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and other public and private sources, the MEC serves the employer and job seeker community through partnerships with local organizations including:

- Marin Economic Forum

Together, we provide a range of employment and employer services to residents and businesses within Marin County. Services to job seekers include the Career Resource Center, workshops and training programs, vocational counseling, employee recruitment and services for groups with special needs such as older workers, veterans, people with disabilities and youth. MEC also provides specialized services, information and resources designed to assist businesses with their ever-changing workforce needs
